Belize is located between Guatemala and Mexico and is one of the largest tourist destinations in Central America. Belize is known for its spectacular coastline. Perfect for a relaxing walk, or an exciting snorkeling adventure. Ambergris Caye is the most popular island of the hundreds of small islands off the coast. A-90 minute ride on the water taxi connects Belize City to San Pedro. Be mindful of the schedule as the water taxi only travels in the morning and afternoon.
There is no international air traffic directly to San Pedro’s Airstrip. Look for flights into Belize City’s Philip Goldson International Airport (PGIA or BZE). Look for a connection to San Pedro’s airstrip or consider the water taxi. We are happy to assist you in booking the connecting flight to the San Pedro Airport.
The currency in Belize is the Belize Dollar (BZD) but all business will take US Dollars (USD). The exchange rate is exactly 2:1 when using cash. You’ll find a few ATMs throughout San Pedro. Please note that torn or defaced US dollars will not be accepted.
Our Condos
All of our condos are privately owned and uniquely appointed. That being said they all have the following: coffee pots, hair dryers, microwaves, cable TV, stovetops, and blenders. Some of our condos have a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and oven. We know that everyone has different preferences and sensitivities for laundry soap and dishwasher detergent. With that in mind, we do not provide those items by default but are happy to do so by request. All rooms come with complimentary hand and body soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion.
Getting Around
There is limited car traffic on San Pedro. There are taxis available but you can’t rent a car. Travel on the island typically happens by golf carts. They are the ideal way to explore San Pedro or take a trip up north. We’re happy to help you rent one!
